I had a filling replaced this morning and they really numbed me up...
I'm still numb three hours later. My entire lower half of the right side of my face is numb. My lips feel like Goldie Hawn donated some collagen.
I can't drink since I can't feel where the cup is.
I have to say though - numb isn't bad. It's that tingly, itchy wearing off stage that's the bitch.

Don't you just hate that feeling? I stopped getting numb for fillings because of that. My dentist thinks I'm nuts, but it doesn't hurt at all, and it prevents that nasty tingly feeling towards the end.
